# Visualizer v1.5 (Legacy)

# Overview

The Tangible Engine Visualizer and Configuration Utility is a simple application for testing and editing the properties of track-able tangible objects. To start the utility, browse to the tangible_trainer_qt directory included with the installation and click on the TangibleApp executable.

Once the application has loaded, either create or open a previous project's settings file. Preset files for the standard patterns can be found in /pattern_file_presets.

Once the settings file is selected, you are free to test and edit previously saved tangibles. You may also add new tangibles.

# Visualizer Tab

The visualizer tab tracks all configured tangibles and displays their information. This tool is intended to be used to test new tangibles.

# Configuration Tab

The configuration tab allows users to train new tangibles and modify properties of pre-existing patterns.

  • Tangible ID - The tangble id is used to distinguish different instances of tangible from one another.
  • Tangible Name - When the user receives tangible data, the name of a tangible will correspond to the pattern with the same name.
